The Town Board meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Bob Ruud Community Center at the corner of Basin Ave. & Hwy 160.
BLM Firewood Permits are handled by the Mapping Administrator at the Nye County Assessor Dept. To obtain a BLM Firewood Permit call US Forest Service at (702) 515-5401.

The Board of County Commissioners meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. On the 1st Tuesday, the meeting is usually held in Tonopah; on the 3rd Tuesday, the meeting is usually held in Pahrump, but could be held in another town in Nye County.
